CNIB Foundation's culture, sports and recreation programs provide you with opportunities to take part in a variety of creative classes, community-based workshops, physical activities and excursions.

Name That Tune
Calling all music lovers! If you have a passion for music, join us for a game of name that tune. We will play clips of songs and participants will have to name that tune. A variety of music types will be played. This program runs via Zoom web conference on the first and third Thursday of every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Kingston Book Club
An accessible book club that meets once a month to discuss the book of the month. For participants living in the Kingston and surrounding area. This monthly book club meets via Zoom web conference on the third Wednesday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Gentle Yoga
This class is designed for all level yogis. Relaxed pace to release anxiety and calm the body. Students will be guided into meditation, breathing techniques, yoga poses and relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a big towel and an open mind to learn something new for the new year! This yoga class runs via Zoom web conference every Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Old Time Radio
Join host Kelly MacDonald as he shares a blast from the past! Listen to all the old radio shows that made the genre so popular. Featuring comedies, dramas and a variety of programs from the time when network radio was king and every buddy tuned in for their entertainment. You are welcomed to briefly comment between shows or just sit back and enjoy! This group runs via Zoom web conference biweekly on Saturday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The Empowerment Digest
Would you love to get an email each week with a little bit of inspiration, motivation and examples of how people living with sight loss are stepping outside their own comfort zones, all in pursuit of living a life that they choose? Breaking through stereotypes, taking on new challenges, connecting with their communities and sharing practical tips on how they are doing the things they once thought "I can't do that!"?

Accessible Yoga
Accessible yoga for most skill levels from the comfort of your home. Check out accessible yoga if you are looking for a classic yoga class with descriptive prompts. Designed for people with vision loss, the instructor will verbally walk you through all the poses and movements. Please bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water, and your breath! This yoga class runs via Zoom web conference every Monday & Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

The Good News Spotlight
Join your event host who will play a selection of audio clips that will serve as a launchpad for discussion. These interesting audio clips will inspire, motivate, or get you thinking. Nothing controversial, just positive topics. This program runs via Zoom web conference every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Tuesday Games
Everyone loves games. This games group meets to socialize playing 2 to 3 different lively word games for the hour. Sessions are led by our own professional game hosts (aka CNIB staff and volunteers). We embrace a safe fun time to exercise your mind. The group meets via Zoom web conference every Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a good option for anyone with injuries or with mobility issues. You will need comfortable clothing and a sturdy chair without arms or armrests for this class. Techniques include breath work, gentle movement with repetition, postures, sitting meditation and relaxation. No experience required. This yoga class runs via Zoom web conference every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

The Bookends Book Club
If you love books, this group is for you! This group features guest authors as well as weeks where a different genre or theme are picked. People read their choice of book on the theme and come ready to discuss. It's a great way to build your reading list and learn about what others are reading and the technology they use to access their books.
