Join us on Wednesday, April 23, for an informative session where we’ll discuss Episode 3: Disability Benefits (Disability Tax Credit & CPP Disability Benefit), featuring experts from Disability Alliance BC, including Sharareh Saremi and Cynthia Minh, as they break down two key financial benefits for Canadians with disabilities.
- Disability Tax Credit (DTC) – A non-refundable tax credit that helps reduce taxes and unlock access to additional benefits like the Canada Workers Benefit (CWB), Child Disability Benefit (CDB), and the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP).
- CPP Disability Benefit (CPPD) – A financial assistance program for individuals who can no longer work due to a severe and prolonged disability, provided they have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
The speakers will also discuss common application challenges, the appeals process, and tips to improve your chances of approval. Following the podcast, we’ll host a discussion to answer questions, share insights, and explore how these benefits can support financial security.
