What is CVI?

CVI happens when there is neurological damage that affects the visual parts of the brain. This can be caused by a stroke, decreased blood supply, decreased oxygenation, seizure, infection, head trauma and other neurologic disorders. Sight loss from CVI may be temporary or permanent.
