Volunteer Puppy Raisers and Boarders are a critical part of our program. Puppy raisers provide a loving home to a puppy in training from around eight weeks old until they are about 12 to 15 months old when they move onto advanced guide dog training at our Canine Campus, and help prepare our puppies through a supervised obedience and socialization skills program.
Raising CNIB Guide Dogs is a special look into the relationship between a future guide dog and their volunteer puppy raiser. Come and meet the extraordinary people who are helping change the lives of Canadians with sight loss by raising future CNIB Guide Dogs.
