Accessible Voting in the next Ontario Provincial Election

There are multiple ways for voters to cast their ballot if they cannot attend a polling place on election day, including advance polling places, mail-in ballot, or home visit. Assistive voting technology will be available at designated advance voting locations or your local election office from February 20 to 26. Voters can also make an appointment to use assistive voting technology on election day by contacting their local election office.

CNIB’s Ontario Election Campaign

The next provincial government must commit to supporting employment for Ontarians who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. CNIB is urging the Government of Ontario to prioritize policies that protect, support, and expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities. By continuing to invest in employment programs that support people with disabilities, the Government of Ontario will ensure that skilled and qualified individuals living with sight loss can live to their full potential while supporting economic growth and filling workforce gaps.
