In response to the COVID19 pandemic CNIB's Research team implemented a survey to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the lives of adults with sight loss in the areas of healthcare; transportation; employment; education; social experiences; access to meals, food, and supplies.
Access and Engagement in Education for K-12 Students with Sight Loss
We worked with colleagues and partners in the United States to develop and launch a survey for parents and educators, to help us understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education and learning of pre-schoolers and students in K-12 education with sight loss.
Post-Secondary Education Outcomes
CNIB's research team is implementing a survey of people living with sight loss between the ages of 18-54 to understand the barriers Canadians living with sight loss face in attaining a post-secondary education.
World Blind Union Employment Survey
CNIB's research team is working in collaboration with the World Blind Union to implement a global employment survey to understand the barriers people with sight loss faces to employment around the world.
Technology Utilization Survey
CNIB's research team will be implementing a Technology Utilization and Literacy survey in spring 2020 to better understand how people living with sight loss use and understand technology.
Canadian Survey on Disability 2017
CNIB's research team is currently analyzing Statistic's Canada's Canadian Survey on Disability 2017 data to help understand the lived experience of Canadians living with sight loss over the age of 15.
