Gift of property

Main Content

No Canadian should have to face sight loss alone. When people like you create a legacy with a gift of property, the CNIB Foundation is able to ensure future generations impacted with sight loss will always have somewhere to turn. A gift of property, also called a “gift in kind,” allows you to donate tangible assets like real estate, works of art, or a collection. Your gift can minimize the tax you pay on current income, while supporting people who are blind or partially sighted for generations to come.

By considering a gift of property to the CNIB Foundation, your impact will make a profound difference in the lives of people with sight loss in your community for a long time to come.

Please note: It’s always best to consult your lawyer or financial advisor before making a gift of property. If you don’t have a lawyer, we're happy to help you find an experienced professional in your area.
