We’re running a special hotline to offer expert help for all your tech issues! When we say all, we mean it: we’ll offer assistance for whatever you have, whether it’s that braille display you bought from SmartLife or the phone you got at the mall. If we can’t figure things out, we’ll put you in touch with someone who can. The hotline is first-come, first-serve, and we’ll keep each conversation private. The Tech Hotline is available every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.

Introducing CNIB Discovery Saturdays! Each month we will explore different skill areas to expand our horizons and connect with peers. Skills we will explore include art, technology, sports and more! Discovery Saturdays meets on the fourth Saturday of every month at CNIB Winnipeg. Morning Session (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Activities for our younger explorers, kindergarten to grade 5. Afternoon Session (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) Activities for participants in grades 6-12.

Family Fun Days are an opportunity for families with children who are blind or partially sighted to come together as a family and socialize with other families with similar experiences. The events happen 2 to 3 times a year and can include things like bowling, crafts and games, movie days, etc.


Adaptive Dance instructor, Tiffany Tjosvold, will be leading a Zoom-based, high energy, seated dance class for participants ages 19+. This class is suitable for all fitness levels. Every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Pacific Time on Zoom.


The Beyond Sight Series feature monthly virtual presentations from various services, businesses and organizations in our community. Each month, we will offer a different topic and speaker will join us to discuss a variety of topics. Examples include: RDSP’s, wills, budgeting, nutrition and lots more. This Peer Group is for individuals in the Brandon area that would like to come together to learn from others who have sight loss. This program allows for individuals to support one another in a safe social environment. Brandon Connects meets on the last Tuesday of every month from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Brandon & District United Way.


Perfect for individuals with mobility issues or injuries, this class uses a sturdy chair to guide you through gentle movements, breath work, sitting meditation, and relaxation techniques.
