This program is designed for older adults who are blind or partially sighted to connect with others who are experiencing similar circumstances and to participate in social gatherings. This Peer Support Program also provides the opportunity for participants to learn from guest speakers about a variety of relevant topics, such as: products for independence, personal safety in your home and community, healthy eating, resources for book lovers, public transportation, staying connected with assistive technology, accessible voting, etc. Our Peer Support Volunteers take a leading role coordinating and facilitating this program.

The Saskatoon Older Adult Peer Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at LutherCare Tower.

Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
