Parent, Caregiver & Youth Support Group Regina is for Regina and surrounding area families to come together once per month to discuss any concerns families have surrounding their youth's sight loss journey. This group is aimed at creating a space for parents and caregivers of youth with sight loss along with their youth who have sight loss, to come together and meet other families who have similar lived experiences. This group will encourage parents and caregivers to talk about their experiences including any struggles or successes they may be facing as they navigate their youth's sight loss journey. This could include any struggles or successes as the youth move throughout the education system, any struggles or successes with youth who are home-schooled, any struggles or successes that families have had during their medical journey, etc. During this program, youth experiencing sight loss or low vision can spend time sharing their own experiences with their peers while developing social skills and building friendships. Parents and caregivers will work toward supporting one another to build a strong community of support for their children who have sight loss or low vision, while sharing their lived experiences.

The Regina Parent, Caregiver & Youth Support Group meets once a month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at CNIB Regina.
