If you’ve ever been in an art class and felt a little lost, this could be the program for you. The facilitator takes traditional visual art materials and modifies or replaces them with tactile media so that everyone can have fun with art. If you wish to try painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and crafts, join the Finger Magic Art Workshop. All projects are inclusive, low stress and require no sight. Have fun with your creative peers, share your artistic wizardry and make artworks that can be enjoyed by everyone around you.
The facilitator for this program will be Walter Dickinson, Next Generation Program Lead for Creative Arts. Walter is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design and has experience teaching cartooning and drawing to children in the GTA. He is passionate about making art accessible to all.
Attendees will meet on the second Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the CNIB GTA Community Hub (1525 Yonge Street, Toronto).
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program. Please note space is limited, so be sure to sign up a.s.a.p.
