There’s something about December that makes us think about our place in the universe. Between the cold and the long nights, we start pondering how big the skies are and how much must be out there. If you know the feeling, we’ve got a session just for you!
In Exploring the Universe with Accessible Tech, we’re showcasing an amazing app called SkyView that reveals the heavens. It shows you what stars, planets, and satellites are overhead and lets you learn all about them. The best thing about SkyView is that it’s totally accessible – it plays really well with VoiceOver so everyone can see the stars. We love SkyView, and odds are you will too! This is the online version of this session. If you’re in Toronto, check out the in-person event at the GTA Community Hub (1525 Yonge Street).
The Exploring the Universe with Accessible Tech (Virtual) workshop happens Thursday, December 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom. Zoom information will be shared after registering.
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
