CNIB is hitting the road to bring our innovative programs to life in Northern Manitoba! Meet the CNIB Mobile Hub – a new program delivery model where we visit your community to deliver in-person programming at no cost to you.

We’d love for you to join us when we visit Thompson on Tuesday, September 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the  Ma-Mow-We-Tak Friendship Centre (4 Nelson Road, Thompson) and on Wednesday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson Regional Community Centre (274 Thompson Drive, Thompson).

Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Enjoy a day of adaptive recreational and social activities, technology workshops, peer support groups, and much more. Experience the latest breakthroughs in assistive tech from CNIB SmartLife and connect with other members of the sight loss community. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers. 

While registering for the Mobile Hub is strongly encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome. To register, please contact Ainslee Lockhart at ainslee.lockhart@cnib.ca or call 431-323-9725.
