The estate planning sessions will provide attendees with a high-level overview of estate planning options for beneficiaries with disabilities. Tarah Sawler, estate planning lawyer at McInnes Cooper, will discuss planning options available to family members of people with disabilities and the tax and personal advantages of adopting these planning options. Topics covered will include the importance and relevance of a Disability Tax Credit, Registered Disability Savings Plan, and trusts designed to support beneficiaries with disabilities.
The Estate Planning Session – Afternoon Session meets on Tuesday, November 5 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Atlantic Time on Zoom. Zoom information will be shared after registering.
