The Digital Treasure Chest is a new virtual program that will explore, examine, and highlight some of the best accessible technologies for people living with sight loss across Canada. It's a place for exploring, discovering, and sharing innovative tech solutions for your accessible technology needs. Find out about new apps, uncommon keyboard shortcuts, customized software solutions, and unique answers to everyday tech questions!

Join us on November 6 as we talk about some mainstream e-book apps that offer a great selection and lots of accessibility. We are, of course, going to talk about Audible, the leading source of audiobooks read by great human voices, but we’re also diving into Kindle. Kindle books are text, so your screen reader can handle them well. Finally, we’re going to introduce you to a new favourite –Libby! Libby offers a great selection of audiobooks and text books, all for free through your public library. Join us to find out how we use these apps to enjoy our favourite stories!

Episode 20 of the Digital Treasure Chest meets on Wednesday, November 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.  Zoom information will be shared after registering.

Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.

Registration required. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form.
