The ability to advocate for oneself is an essential skill for all guide dog handlers. Effective self-advocacy allows individuals the opportunity to communicate clearly and confidently in order to get around the barriers for any given situation. Join CNIB for an educational workshop on self advocacy for guide dog handlers. This one-hour session is designed to give current and future guide dog handlers a place to learn about their rights, discuss everyday challenges, and practice advocacy skills in a supportive setting.

Advocacy 101 for guide dog handlers meets on Monday, September 23 from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom. Zoom information will be provided after registering.

Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.

Registration required. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form.
