Join the Early Years Digital Literacy Project team and other industry partners for an exciting series of presentations. Topics will focus on supporting the learning and development of children who are blind or low vision, between the ages of 2-6 who are living in Canada. There will be a short question and answer period after each presentation.

- Are you interested in learning about how braille can support your young child who is blind or low vision but don't know where to start? We're bringing together three industry specialists to share more about the braille and literacy services available to you. We are excited to welcome:
- Adam Wilton, Manager of the Provincial Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired (PRCVI), Manager of the Accessible Resource Center (ARC)-BC and Director of Braille Literacy Canada (BLC). Adam is the engineer behind the concept and production of Braille Bites. In addition to telling us more about that program, he will also higlight BLC's Brailler Bounce initiative.
- Sally Cameron is a Preschool Services BVI with the Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority (APSEA), in Nova Scotia. Representing the Atlantic Provinces, she will talk about the role of APSEA, and pre-braille and braille learning for young children.
- Karen Brophey is the Program Lead - Literacy at CNIB. She will be talking about all the braille focused initiatives happening Nationally through the CNIB.
The Early Years Speaker Series meets on Friday, November 29 from 12 to 1 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom. Zoom information will be shared after registering.
