The Digital Treasure Chest is a new virtual program that will explore, examine, and highlight some of the best accessible technologies for people living with sight loss across Canada. It's a place for exploring, discovering, and sharing innovative tech solutions for your accessible technology needs. Find out about new apps, uncommon keyboard shortcuts, customized software solutions, and unique answers to everyday tech questions!

Join us on Wednesday, July 17 as we delve into the world of smart speakers – the digital assistants that have become a part of our homes. You might know them as Google Home, Alexa, or Siri, but do you truly know their capabilities? In this episode, we're uncovering the hidden treasures and uncommonly useful features of these devices. From managing your day-to-day tasks with ease to controlling your smart home devices with just your voice, smart speakers have evolved into indispensable companions. But wait, there's more! Did you know these digital marvels can help you learn new languages, play interactive games, or even tell you a joke when you need a good laugh? We'll explore these lesser-known functionalities and discuss how they can enrich your daily life.

Episode 13 of the Digital Treasure Chest meets on Wednesday, July 17 from 1 t o 2 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.  Zoom information will be shared after registering.
