Arrival Information 

Please enter the building through the main lobby entrance at 10135 100 Street. The registration desk will be located in the lobby, where you will be greeted by CNIB staff and volunteers. Upon arrival, you will be provided with a wristband that you are required to wear throughout the event. This wristband will help building security identify you as a participant of the Connecting the Dots event.

Public Transportation:
The following transit lines stop near The Westin Edmonton:

  • 100 Street & Jasper Avenue (Bus stop on 100 St NW)
  • Routes: 401, 411, 500X, and 511 provide direct drop-off outside the venue.

The Westin is located on the east side of 100th Street, with its entrance angled 45 degrees away from the street.

Public Transit and Parking Options

  • Transit Access: Several public transit routes have stops within a 5-minute walk.
  • Parking: Underground parking is available via the Stanley A. Milner Library Parkade, with direct access to The Westin.

  • LRT and Bus: Both LRT and bus services are available to reach The Westin.

LRT Directions from Churchill Station

  1. Take the Capital Line and follow the escalators to street level/Valley Line station.
  2. Once at street level, head west toward 100th Street (Churchill Square on the right, library on the left).
  3. Cross south at 102 Ave and continue one block.
  4. Cross Judy Padua/Rice Howard Way. The Westin will be the first building on the left.

Bus Directions

Nearby Stops for Routes 401, 411, 500X, 511, and 523

  • Stop: 100th Street and Jasper Ave, near The Westin entrance just before the 45-degree sidewalk.

Eastbound Routes on Jasper Ave

  • Buses: 2 (Stadium), 5 (Coliseum/Downtown), 8 (University), 111 (Riverdale), 130X, 150X, 900X (Downtown)
  • Stop: 101 Street & Jasper Ave, on the south side of Jasper Ave near Central Station.

To reach The Westin:

  1. Turn east (left) off the bus and walk toward 100th Street.
  2. Cross east and then north at Jasper Ave and 100th Street.
  3. At the northeast corner of Jasper Ave and 100th Street, walk north; The Westin is the second building on the right. Follow the 45-degree angled sidewalk on the right.

Westbound Routes on Jasper Ave

  • Buses: 2 (West Edmonton Mall), 5 (Westmount), 8 (Abbotsfield), 111 (Westmount), 130X, 131, 150X, 201 (St. Albert via 118th Ave), 211 (MacEwan University via Downtown)
  • Stop: 100 Street & Jasper Ave

To reach The Westin:

  1. Turn east (right) off the bus and walk toward 100th Street.
  2. Cross east and then north.
  3. At the northeast corner, walk north; The Westin is the second building on the right, just a short distance ahead. Follow the 45-degree angled sidewalk on the right side.

Parking

Paid parking is available onsite at the Westin Edmonton, and at a local Impark, approximately 100m away from the venue.

  • On-Site Parking: $7.00 per hour, $38.00 daily.
  • Off-Site Parking: Impark, located 0.1 km away.

Accessibility

Guide Dog Relief Area

A designated area for guide dog relief is located off the first-floor lobby. Volunteers will be available to assist with navigation to and from this area.

Sensory Room

Need a moment to yourself? Take advantage of the dedicated quiet space, located in the Chairman Room on the main conference floor This space offers a quiet environment for relaxation and sensory comfort, providing a break from the conference activities. The sensory room is open all day and is available to all conference participants. 

ASL Interpretation 

In line with CNIB's commitment to accessibility and inclusion, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided for all conference sessions and for the entirety of the evening networking session. Interpretation for Vendor Alley is available upon request.
