Providing youth who are blind or partially sighted ways to develop leadership, advocacy and skills in a social setting by building self-esteem, confidence and empowerment. 

Guest speakers explore a variety of topics: 

  • Banking and money management
  • Starting a blog
  • First aid and CPR
  • Letter writing
  • Self defense
  • Employment skills
  • Bullying 
  • Self-care and hygiene
  • Party planning 
  • Tech
  • Visits to restaurants, shops, galleries and more

The program is flexible and geared to your interests. If you can’t attend in person, we’ll link you in via teleconference.

Why not use your new skills and become a mentor by signing up to be a counselor in training (CIT) at CNIB summer day camps?
