Beyond Sight Series

The Beyond Sight Series feature monthly virtual presentations from various services, businesses and organizations in our community. Each month, we will offer a different topic and speaker will join us to discuss a variety of topics. Examples include: RDSP’s, wills, budgeting, nutrition and lots more. Fourth Monday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Newfoundland Time on Zoom.

For a truly interactive experience, Linda welcomes you to cook and bake along with her in the comfort of your own kitchen! This group for people who are living with sight loss and diabetes, meets monthly for conversation, sharing insights and presentations. Fourth Wednesday of every month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.

CNIB Guide Dogs – Puppy Raising Information Session (Metro-Vancouver)

Raise a puppy for CNIB Guide Dogs! CNIB Guide Dogs is looking for volunteers in Metro-Vancouver to help raise our future guide dogs. Join us on Wednesday, April 24 for an information session to learn more about what's involved in becoming a puppy raiser and discover the ins and outs of of this rewarding volunteer role!

I can… do most anything! Youth roundtable

Join us for this youth roundtable, led by Ryan Van Praet, children and youth program lead. Ryan would love to hear from you! He wants to get to know you, what your goals are, what obstacles you might be facing, and most importantly, brainstorm on how to help you get out there and live your very best, included life! We will talk about topics, such as daily living, sports and physical activity, art, school, advocacy, and whatever else is on your mind. This is a group effort, so we will respect everybody’s opinions, but we will also be very solutions focus. Wednesday, April 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.
