Friday Coffee Talks (National)

Grab a cup of coffee and join us for a weekly call-in social group. Each Session will have a topic of discussion. This group runs via Zoom web conference and teleconference every Friday from 2-3 p.m. Pacific Time. Call-in information will be given upon registration.

Join us for coffee, snacks and chatter! Kick back and relax over a cup of java and some great conversation. This group runs via Zoom web conference and teleconference every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Newfoundland Time. Call-in information will be given upon registration.

Eastern Canada Social Meet Up Teleconference

Are you craving that social interaction you normally get from going for coffee, attending meetings or going shopping? We are here to provide a safe alternative. Social distancing is a challenge, but you’re not alone. Join us on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Eastern Time for a friendly group chat. We’ll get to know each other, share some good news stories, and discuss practical tips for staying healthy and connected. Call-in information will be given upon registration.

People that join in on this video conversation have been chatting about what they have been doing to pass the time and sharing some humour. This group meets via Zoom web conference every Monday from 7-8 p.m. Atlantic Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Ontario Peer Support Weekly Teleconference

This teleconference group will connect with others across the region who are living with sight loss.  This group meets via teleconference every Wednesday from 1:30-3 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

A CNIB social to bring us closer in a time of social distancing! This group runs via teleconference every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

CNIB Young Women's Group (National)

Are you a young woman preparing for university or starting your professional life? Join us to meet other confident, independent young women with similar interests and experiences. We will focus on issues that are relevant to your life, learn new things, and discuss the challenges of living with sight loss. Topics such as mental health, socialization, dating and navigating the workforce are just some of the things we will delve into. This group runs online via Zoom web conference on June 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.

Life Coaching: Love, Dating and Relationships (National)

Be part of this engaging life coaching series on love, dating and relationships. This series will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month, for six months, via Zoom web conference or teleconference. Call in information will be given upon registration.

A support group for blind/partially sighted parents.  From infancy to adulthood - blind mothers and fathers can learn, explore, and share their triumphs, challenges, tips and stories among peers in a supportive environment. Working-age individuals get together and discuss topics that impact them and socialize with like-minded individuals living with sight loss. This group runs via teleconference on the last Saturday of every month from 1-3 p.m. Mountain Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
