Support group for caregivers

CarePartners Peer Support program

This is a support group that take place for a duration of six weeks. It is facilitated by a psychosocial counsellor.

In these meeting you will learn how to deal with the challenges of your caregiver role and manage the related stress and emotions.

You will also have the opportunity to get to know other people whose reality is much the same as yours.

The objectives of this group are to reduce the isolation of caregivers, prevent exhaustion and allow them to learn tips and tricks that they can use to take better care of themselves while respecting the autonomy of the individual who is living with vision loss. 

If you live with  vision loss, do not hesitate to  mention this group to your friends and relatives who provide you with support. They may be able to better support you.



To participate in this group, you must care for a friend or a relative living with vision loss.
