Attending a post-secondary institution can be a stressful and challenging experience for many students – regardless of vision loss.
If you are attending (or planning on attending) a post-secondary institution, this bi-weekly call provides you with the opportunity to meet with your peers to share tips about coping in a post-secondary setting and everyday life. You are encouraged to talk about the issues you may be facing and discuss potential solutions to adapt to and overcome the barriers and challenges.
You will hear from guest speakers about the services that may benefit you, such as new assistive technologies or techniques for independent living. Fun social events will also be planned throughout the semester, based on the interests of the group members.
