Monthly socials

Main Content

Once a month, people with vision loss meet in their communities for CNIB Socials across Nova Scotia.

During these socials, you have the opportunity to connect with peers with vision loss in a casual, comfortable, and accessible setting. You can just come to listen or you can participate in the conversations, sharing your experiences, tips, and stories. There are often themes of conversation or guest speakers for each meeting. Snacks are provided.

Currently, socials take place in Halifax, Bridgewater, Sydney, and New Glasgow. However, we hope to launch socials in Truro and Amherst in the near future.

To find out when the next social is scheduled near you, check out our online calendar. For more information, please contact Shelley Adams at shelley.adams@cnib.ca or by calling (902) 453-1480.
