National Volunteer Week 2020

Main Content

It’s National Volunteer Week!

Have you thanked a volunteer today?

A century of experience has taught us that turning our bold dreams into reality takes a community. Active at every level of our organization, volunteers are key agents in moving CNIB’s mission forward.

From the caring Canadians who volunteer as board members, advocates, puppy raisers, and fundraising organizers to those who help with administrative tasks or lead music, art, or yoga classes – their gracious volunteerism makes our communities a better place to live, work and play.

National Volunteer Week (April 19-25) is a time to celebrate and thank volunteers. This week, our website will feature volunteer stories from across the country. Take a few minutes to read their stories and, more importantly, take a moment to say thank you.

On behalf of all of us at CNIB, thank you to the thousands of passionate volunteers across the country who are helping to create powerful change for Canadians with sight loss. This week, and all the weeks ahead, we recognize, celebrate and thank you
