I just registered for a program but I don’t see it in “My Programs” tab?

As we want to make sure that our programs will meet the needs of our participants, after self-registering for a program, a CNIB member will review and process your registration. Once this process is complete, the program you registered for will be visible.

Can I register only for a session?

No, when you register for a program, you are automatically registered to all sessions happening under that program. However, because each session is an individual program, the participant has the right to participate or not in any of the sessions.

Can I unsubscribe myself from a program?

Any user has the ability to unsubscribe from a program through My CNIB. To do so, under My Programs, look for the program you want to “Unsubscribe”, select the button and confirm the unsubscription.

Could a participant that is under 18 register for a program?

More on this to follow soon!

What is my CNIB connects number?

CNIB Connects number is your unique membership identification number that you could use on any of our affiliated partners to gain access to special offerings, like exclusive discounts and promotions on everything from products and services to community programs accessible to people with sight loss. To know more please visit CNIB Connects website.

Where can I find my CNIB Connects number in My CNIB?

To obtain your CNIB Connects membership number in My CNIB, just click on the username tab located at the top right corner of the page and select “My Profile”. A new page that contains your personal information and your CNIB Connects number will load.

How do I log my Volunteer hours?

To log your volunteer hours, log into My CNIB, and access the Volunteer Information page. Once there, select the tab “Log my hours”, find the program you want to log your hours against and click on the button “Log Hours” to start the registry.

I made a mistake while logging volunteer hours, what do I do?

If an error was made while logging volunteer hours, please get in contact with your Program Lead to find a solution. Do not try to register the same record again as it will create a duplicate record.

As a volunteer, would I be able to take attendance?

You cannot take attendance of any program through My CNIB. This task has to be coordinated with the Program Lead.

My Program Lead shared with me the link to the Time Entry form. Do I still need to use that link if I log my hours through My CNIB?

No, you do not still need to log your hours using the Time Entry form if you have logged your hours through My CNIB since this will create a duplicate record in the system.

I forgot my password, how do I change it?

In case you forgot or want to change your password, please use the feature “Forgot my password”, located below the password box in the Login page of My CNIB and follow the instructions to create a new password.
