The Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park is a 99-acre park in Nova Scotia that includes animals, an interpretive centre, and hiking trails. During this call, they will be giving a presentation on fall animal adaptations and which species are preparing to hibernate in Nova Scotia. What does adaptations and hibernation mean? Does an animal in captivity have different adaptations than one in the wild? How does a species prepare for hibernation? How long do different species hibernate for? 

This program runs via Zoom web conference on September 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. Atlantic Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
