You can learn to play guitar at any age, with any level of visual acuity. It’s an excellent way to connect socially, to boost confidence, and to open new neural pathways; it’s about mastering new things.

Join us at The Hub for a group class specifically tailored to the needs of blind and partially sighted students at any level: absolute beginners welcome!

Partially sighted guitar teacher, Joe Bernard, will be lead the group through the basics in a serene and respectful setting.

Joe is an accomplished guitarist who’s been playing and teaching for over 30 years.

Even if you’re just curious and don’t have access to a guitar, we will have extra instruments on hand!

This ongoing workshop happens every Wednesday.

One-hour classes begin at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. Registration required.

Register with Christine Malec, Hub Coordinator/Program Group Support, at 416-486-2500 ext. 7244, or email
