This is a four-part series of group sessions that will help guide participants through the basics of using Android devices, as well as understanding and using the built-in accessibility features. It is recommended that participants take all sessions, but participants can choose the sessions best suited for their needs. The following topics will be covered in each session:
- Session 1 – Thursday, September 12: Basic accessibility features available on Android and other general information
- Session 2 – Thursday, September 26: Advanced accessibility features for people with low vision
- Session 3 – Thursday, October 3: Advanced accessibility features for people with total vision loss (e.g. screen reader, TalkBack, Google Assistant)
- Session 4 – Thursday, October 10: Google Assistant voice control features for all vision types
It is recommended that participants take all sessions, but participants can choose the sessions best suited for their needs.
