This is part of a series of group sessions that will help guide participants through the basics of using Android devices, as well as understanding and using the built-in accessibility features.
Each session includes 90 minutes of structured lecture delivery of material, followed by 60 minutes of individualized support. The following are topics which will be covered in each session:
- Session 1, June 5: Overview of all accessibility features available on Android smartphones & tablets
- Session 2, June 12: Advanced accessibility features for those with low vision
- Session 3, June 26: Advanced accessibility features for those with total vision loss (e.g. screen reader, TalkBack, Google Assistant)
- Session 4 will be coming in July, so stay tuned!
