Using augmented reality, Aira connects people who are blind or partially sighted with a trained professional agent dedicated to further enhancing your everyday experience. It’s hands-free assistance after the touch of a button. 

The Aira app connects a blind user with a sighted agent who uses the phone's camera to assist with daily living tasks. These tasks can include: reading mail, identifying expiry dates on groceries, telling you information on products, and some aspects of independent travel, just to name a few. Join us to learn more. The app will be demonstrated during the session. 

This technology workshop meets via Zoom web conference on July 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
