Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together (SMART) are community-based, volunteer-led exercise programs for seniors that accommodate all levels of ability, including vision loss.

Organized by the local VON Canada branch, SMART programs improve strength, balance, and cardiovascular health, and reduce social isolation and hospital visits relating to falls. CNIB is pleased to host this free exercise program specifically for people with vision loss every Monday morning.

Space is limited (maximum 8 people).

Note: This popular class is currently at capacity. If you are interested in this active and dynamic program, please call to have your name placed on the waitlist. Once there is sufficient interest, an additional group will be started.

For more information or to register, please contact Lucia Ricardo, Program Lead, Peer Support and Youth Leadership at lucia.ricardo@cnib.ca or 705-728-3352 ext. 5281.
