We hear about it on the news every day, and it is now legalized in Canada - cannabis, marijuana, pot, weed, devil's lettuce - the list of names goes on. What is this plant all about? How is cannabis used in the treatment of some medical conditions? What is the difference between medicinal or recreational cannabis?

A guest speaker from the Simcoe Muskoka Health District Unit will provide an overview on this timely topic. Join in on the conversation and ask your 'burning' questions. Presented during the Beyond Vision Loss (BVL) monthly series, this meeting is for anyone with vision loss, and family and friends, to learn and socialize.

Registration required. For more information or to register for BVL, please contact Lucia Ricardo, Program Lead, Peer Support and Youth Leadership at Lucia.Ricardo@cnib.ca or 705-728-3352, ext. 5281.
