Springbank Gardens Community Centre
205 Wonderland Rd S. - Lower Parking Lot
London ON N6K 3T3
ReForest London is inviting CNIB participants, friends and family to join in a hike along the river.
This 1 hour, casual walk will take place on paved, accessible riverside paths and will include an educational component. Get out and walk in the beautiful fall weather and learn about the local trees that make London the "forest city".
Tactile stops on the walk will let you touch and learn. All abilities welcome. We will have a walk leader to keep us all together. Use you cane, guide dog, or bring a sighted friend to walk with you if you feel you need the extra support. Physical activity knows no boundaries!
For more information, contact Ryan Van Praet, Program Lead, Partnerships Recreation and Sports, at Ryan.VanPraet@cnib.ca or call 1-800-265-4127 ext. 5145.
Dress appropriate to the weather and bring a water bottle if needed. You are responsible for your own mobility, so use your skills and come along! Bring a sighted friend to assist you if needed. Need a brush up on cane skills? We encourage you to connect with your Vision Loss Rehab staff member.
Parking: When turning into 205 Wonderland Rd., head to the back parking lot. Our volunteer will be watching for you. Her name is Sue!
