Knitting enthusiast, Crocheters, and Newbies alike! We're inviting anyone who loves yarn to come join our social circle and learn how to start and new techniques! Come with your own projects or with a willingness to try, we want you to come join our "Knitting/Crochet coaches."
Two beginner crochet and knit projects will be offered, but advanced crafters are welcomed! If you have a project you would like to try, or a technique you are having trouble with, the coaches would love to get knitty gritty with you!
Materials: We encourage you to bring your own knitting and crochet needles but if you are unable, please contact the program volunteer lead to ensure we have some for you.
This is not a classroom-style program; we encourage everyone to go at their own pace, make friends, and support each other. Drop-in as you would like, although we recommend anyone wishing to start a new project to be here no later than 3:30 p.m.
Note: New knitters and crocheters are welcome but this is NOT a class, rather a social gathering of persons looking to create new projects. We welcome everyone however would encourage a very basic knowledge of either knitting or crochet. We will have some extra materials but encourage you to bring your own and/or consider donating any extra supplies to the group, for others to use. Please contact Laura Challis, Team Lead Volunteer, if you require materials.
Dates: Monday, September 30, October 28, November 11, November 25
