It's not unusual to feel depressed, angry or alone when experiencing a loss of sight. Over time these feelings can turn to confidence, independence, and joy as old skills are rediscovered and new skills are developed.
Peer Support groups give you the opportunity to connect with others who are living with sight loss. Wherever you may be in your journey, meeting people facing similar challenges and experiences can be very exciting and reassuring.
Our Wednesday meetings in March are: March 13, 20 and 27.
Registration required. For more information or to register, please contact Kiri Butter, Program Lead, Peer Support and Advocacy, at 807-345-3341 ext. 5460 or email Kiri.Butter@cnib.ca.
