You’re never too old to learn! Expand your horizons in a welcoming, inclusive environment where you won’t be the only visually impaired person in the room. Each month we’ll explore a new topic: History, geography, science, travel, social trends, etc.
Learning happens in different ways, and this group will be a place where information and ideas will be presented in a way that makes sense to you.
This month's Curiosity Club will ask ambitious questions about climate, population and urban living. Our world is changing fast and these changes are often understood through graphs, charts and other visual ways of displaying shifts and trends. We'll answer these questions by demonstrating the latest in sound and tactile materials as ways to comprehend large amounts of data quickly. Come and check out the audio and tactile alternatives to graphics.
Registration required. To register for this program, please contact Christine Malec at 416-486-2500 ext. 7244 or email Christine.Malec@cnib.ca.
