Join in the creation of a collaborative art piece with other members of the CNIB Moncton community around the theme What does Sight mean to you?

Funded by Rising Youth, the large canvas located in our Moncton office community room deserves to be painted in a way that represents our identity as a collective. To that end, we invite you to take part in the painting and crafting of "What sight means to us." This unique piece of art will include both visual and tactile elements, which we hope will allow the painting to be interesting and accessible to all those who experience it.

While the creation of this piece will take place over several days, this day (Feb 19th) will include:
- Cleaning the canvas
- Painting the base coat
- Brainstorming what sight means to us as we work towards a common artistic direction for the group

No painting experience required. No cost to participate. Bring clothing that you aren't worried about getting paint on. Feel free to bring craft supplies so we can start playing with different tactile elements that could go on the canvas.

Space is limited so please contact us to pre-register or for more information.
