The Region of Waterloo rapid transit system, ION, will connect the three major urban centres of the Cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. As the region moves towards opening service this spring, residents have a chance to visit a new station, explore an ION train, and speak to staff from the Region of Waterloo.
Join Grand River Transit for a service education day in May and learn more about ION, the EasyGO fare card, and how your transit experience will be changing.
Service education days will take place on Saturday, May 11 at the following ION stations:
- Conestoga | 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Laurier-Waterloo Park, 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Victoria Park, 2 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.
- Kitchener Market, 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
