Hosted the first Thursday of each month, we enjoy a different activity, game, or craft that children and youth with vision loss do together.
Children and youth are paired up in a student-mentor relationship to build friendships and learn new skills.
Past activities have included making yummy snacks, playing team games, and having building competitions. This is a great opportunity for children to meet other kids with vision loss and participate in a visually accessible activities.
Youth gain volunteer hours for participating in this program as mentors.
