CNIB Vancouver is the main location for the camp and the location for all guardian pick-ups and drop-offs. Various out-trips to exhibits, parks and other locations provided by CNIB during the camp.
Let’s get artsy everyone! CNIB Vancouver will be taken over by young artists this summer to explore the creator within. Participants within this program will get a chance to experience different artistic mediums such as paints, clay work, tie-dye and more Leather work, we will also be working with BC Blind Sports of exploring the arts through body movement with different types of dance, music exploration and art inspired physical activity. This program will be led by different educational professionals as well as youth leaders from our various other summer camp programs. This three-day long day camp is designed for children and youth with vision loss and their similar aged siblings.
The camp includes/ Cost: Each participant gets a three-day artistic experience, lunches for all three days, all artistic materials and the pieces that they create with them, a Camp T- Shirt and any transportation required for activities throughout the day. This camp is completely subsidized by CNIB however we are asking for a $25.00 registration fee for the camp to reserve your spot.
Ages appropriate for this camp: 7 -14

Minimum Participants Required: We require adequate numbers of participants to successfully run this program. If we do not have enough applicants sign up by no later than Saturday June 15th 2019 we will have to cancel this program for 2019 with full registration refund.
