This virtual advocacy program will run in four parts that will each focus on different aspects of self-advocacy. These four sessions will help to equip individuals with the tools they need to advocate for themselves successfully and effectively in different scenarios. Session topics include, why be a self-advocate, what is advocacy, defining solutions, finding allies, and much more.
This self-advocacy series runs via Zoom web conference every Wednesday (October 20 to November 10) from 4 to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. Participants must register for the series before October 18. Call in information will be given upon registration.
