Jazz on the Mountain at Blue is a three-day national-class event with music performances from international artists in a beautiful festivalized setting at Blue Mountain, Ontario's Number One Resort Destination.
Featuring:
Top acts such as iconic Canadian songstress Holly Cole, American contemporary jazz master Jeff Lorber Fusion, British jazz/pop phenomenon Swing Out Sister and the legendary saxophonist Kenny Garrett, are all performing at the new Mainstage Concert Venue being configured at Blue Mountain Inn. Children under 12 are free and ticket options are available for individual concerts and for multiple days. The free concert series is presented up to three times daily at the Events Plaza in the heart of Blue Mountain Village with established jazz artists, and up and coming Canadian performers, with amazing shows that showcase an irresistable combination of jazz, pop, funk and R&B.
CNIB will be on location throughout the festival with various activaties including blind taste testing, ambassadors and their guide dogs, an awareness booth and much more.

The Barrie Visions Gala – Dining in the Dark is an extraordinary CNIB fundraising event being held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the beautiful Barrie Masonic Temple. Proceeds from the event will benefit CNIB’s vital rehabilitation services that empower Canadians who are blind or partially sighted to overcome the challenges of vision loss and lead full, independent lives.
The Barrie Visions Gala – Dining in the Dark gives attendees a once-in-a-lifetime experience of sensory delights – from delectable tastes to tactile treasures up for bid in the silent auction – and includes a lively cocktail reception, entertainment and a delicious three-course meal generously donated by Scarpaccio Ristorante Grill & Wine Bar. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience one of the courses while dining in the dark. Tickets are on sale for $50.00
