The Walking Group provides a chance for individuals who are blind or partially sighted to exercise and practice their mobility and travel skills. Every Monday (Tuesday when there is a long weekend) from 10 to 11 a.m.
This one-week virtual camp is about becoming aware of the world of work and how it relates to us at a very early age. We will address the basic questions like What is a job? What sorts of jobs do our family members have? Why is work important? Attendees will learn how to perform their own research through casual conversation with family and community acquaintances. Through short group conversations, fun interactive educational games, interesting guest speakers and playful exercises, participants will learn to dream big and expand their possibilities for the future.
This Adjustment to Vision Loss (AVL) Discussion Series keeps the interactive conversation going. In a safe and confidential, peer led, (virtual) space, people with sight loss can drop in to explore, contribute, and understand the many emotions and losses associated with sight loss, and build self-confidence for leading a meaningful and independent life. Second Monday of every month from 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.

Join our Taekwondo classes, designed for kids with vision loss, offering a supportive and inclusive environment to develop a new self-defense skill. Every Wednesday (July-August) from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Spruce Avenue Community Centre in Edmonton.
The Zoom Zoom Room is growing up, and is now called the Zoom Room for Kids! Children ages 6-10 and older, non-verbal participants are invited to join us as we use music to build our social skills. Each session will be all about the special things going on that month. Make sure to come regularly, because each session you will work as a team to create your own special song. CNIB is advocating alongside community members across Saskatchewan to break down societal barriers to accessibility and create a more inclusive society for people living with sight loss. Advocacy Volunteers are people who are blind or partially sighted, their friends or family, or anyone who has a connection to the mission and wants to make a difference in their community. They are self-starters who can bring together community and drive local grassroots campaigns as well as support national advocacy issues in their region through collaborating with others. The Saskatchewan Advocacy Group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Zoom.
