You’re never too old to learn! Expand your horizons in a welcoming, inclusive environment where you won’t be the only visually impaired person in the room. Each month we’ll explore a new topic: History, geography, science, travel, social trends, etc.
Learning happens in different ways, and this group will be a place where information and ideas will be presented in a way that makes sense to you.
This month's Curiosity Club will explore flying!
What makes planes stay up? We’ve all wondered, but most of us don’t really get it. This month, engineer and former private pilot Alan Stummer will be here to help us understand. Using models and experiments, we’ll learn about airplane, glider and helicopter design. There might even be a paper airplane throwing competition!
Registration required. To register for this program, please contact Christine Malec at 416-486-2500 ext. 7244 or email Christine.Malec@cnib.ca.
