Centennial Awards Program

Over the last 100 years, CNIB has been able to provide the programs and services to people who are blind or partially sighted thanks to the time and support from volunteers and community partners. The CNIB Century of Change Awards Program will celebrate the many people from coast to coast to coast who have made CNIB the organization it is today, and helped change what it is to be blind in Canada over the last century. The focus will be on:

  • The dignity, the struggles and achievements of people with sight loss.

  • The generosity and vision of our donors and community partners.

  • The dedicated work of our volunteers to create programs, provide services, raise awareness and advocate for social change.

  • The transformative work of the innovators who have developed technologies and products that have revolutionized the lives of people who are blind and partially sighted.

Are you or is someone you know a volunteer who has made a significant contribution to CNIB? Nominate them today for the CNIB Century of Change Volunteer Award. All award recipients will be announced later this year, and we look forward to celebrating with them at various events across the country.
